Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the production of vehicle tires, mainly tires for in-plant or warehouse handling equipment.
[1]. A known method of manufacturing solid tires, in which a rubber mixture is pressed into a mold cavity of a mold under pressure through a channel system [1].
The disadvantage of this method is the possibility of manufacturing only one rubber compound, which significantly narrows the scope of use.
[2]. There is a method of manufacturing solid tires, in which an annular blank made of one or more rubber compounds is installed in the half-mold, which is molded under the influence of a given pressing force, radially moved in the mold cavity of the mold and vulcanized [2].
The disadvantage of this method is the complexity of tire manufacturing, delivery and concentric installation of ring parts in the lower half-mold during assembly of the workpiece, increased requirements for the geometric parameters of the parts and the need for strict fixation during molding.
A known method of manufacturing tires, in which an annular blank made of one or more rubber compounds is installed in the half-mold, which is molded under the influence of a given pressing force, radially moved in the mold cavity of the mold and vulcanized, with the pressing force acting on the inner part of the blank [ 3]. This method improves the quality of molding and simplifies the process of manufacturing tires, but it, like the previous method, has the same disadvantage: during the vulcanization process, there is no indication of the temperature and time conditions of the vulcanization process. This is of great importance due to the fact that the massive tire has a large vulcanizable volume, and a simple temperature vulcanization process leads to uneven vulcanization of the rubber in depth.
However, the latter invention can serve as a prototype of the proposed.
The problem solved by the proposed method is to increase the uniformity of vulcanization of rubber along the depth of the massive tire.
The problem is solved as follows. A prefabricated annular billet consisting of one or more rubber compounds, each of which is selected by chemical composition for the corresponding layer, is placed in the mold. A tire is formed followed by vulcanization for a certain time in a predetermined sequence.
A distinctive feature of the proposed method is that the annular blank is obtained from rubber bands of different chemical composition by winding the latter on a mandrel. The number of tape layers is determined by the required layer thickness and the thickness of the tape itself.
The tire, as a rule, consists of the following layers: outer tread, middle damping and inner landing.
By varying the thicknesses of these layers, massive tires of various characteristics can be obtained. Moreover, additional sublayers of certain characteristics can be introduced inside the main layers.
Due to the fact that their thermal conductivity is different and each grade of rubber requires a certain vulcanization time, the process is carried out in steps: first, the workpieces are held at a temperature of 0.65-0.78 of the vulcanization temperature for 0.14-0.20 of the process time, then at a temperature 0.86-0.97 temperature of the vulcanization process for 0.27-0.35 time of the vulcanization process at a pressure of 0.7-0.85 nominal, and then the rest of the time at the temperature and pressure of the vulcanization process, and the finished product is extracted after sudden cooling th workpiece surface.
