Abstract
Description
The invention relates to filtering materials used for suspensions, in particular in filtration processes on filter presses.
The prior art.
24.05.95 г.). Known multi-layer needle-punched non-woven material used for filtering and for the manufacture of conveyor belts (laid out application Germany N 4339709 according to class IPC D 04 H 3/00, 3/10, 3/12, B 32 B 5/24, B 01 D 39 / 08, published on 05.24.95).
This material includes two fibrous layers of staple synthetic fibers and a reinforcing layer of bicomponent staple fibers located between them, bonded to each other by needle piercing. The reinforcing layer is subjected to drawing before needle-piercing, and after needle-piercing, it is subjected to heat treatment with simultaneous compaction. This material is taken as a prototype for most of the similar essential features. Having higher flexibility and porosity, in comparison with the known multilayer needle-punched materials, this material cannot simultaneously perform filtering and conveying functions. As indicated in the description of the invention to this application (see column 3, the last paragraph of the description), when using known material for the manufacture of conveyor belts, the binder is further impregnated with fiber layers of staple synthetic fibers bonded to a reinforcing layer. Additional impregnation with a binder leads to an increase in the strength of the material, but at the same time to a decrease in its porosity. This, in turn, worsens its filtering properties due to increased resistance to the filtered stream. In addition, as a result of the aging of the binder, especially when using a material for filtration in aggressive environments, it is possible to spall and get into the filter. On the other hand, the absence of additional bonding of the fibrous layers by a binder even with an increase in the number of reinforcing layers of bicomponent fibers laid to each other, as proposed in this application, does not provide the necessary strength and stability for its use as a filter conveyor belt experiencing high loads.
Meanwhile, when filtering suspensions on filter presses, conveyor belts of continuous length are used, performing both transporting and filtering functions.
Known conveyor belt made in the form of a movable endless textile web, used as a filter element in an automatic chamber filter press (see book: A.N. Planovsky and others. "Processes and devices of chemical technology", fifth edition, publishing house Chemistry, Moscow, 1968, pp. 262 - 264). Acting as a conveyor belt for loading the filtered suspension and removing sediment from the press formed during the filtration process, such a belt, however, has low filtering characteristics due to the planar structure of the fabric. In this regard, it is necessary to lay the bag on a woven conveyor belt in the form of non-woven filtering napkins having the necessary filtering efficiency, as is, for example, described in RF patent N2118557, class. IPC B 01 D 39/16, publ. 09/10/98. During the filtration process, the need arises for a relatively frequent replacement of filtering napkins, which is associated with additional, unproductive labor and material costs and causes a low productivity of the filter press.
The objective of the invention is to create such a multilayer non-woven filter material for suspensions, which, having a combination of high strength, stability and filtering properties, could simultaneously perform filtering and conveying functions when used as a filtering conveyor belt of a filter press.
This problem is solved due to the fact that the multilayer non-woven filter material, including fibrous layers of staple synthetic fibers and a reinforcing layer located between two fibrous layers, fastened together by bundles of fibers of the fibrous layers formed by needle piercing, contains an additional reinforcing layer located similar to the specified both reinforcing layers are made in the form of fabric from synthetic threads, and bundles of fibers pass from the outer fibrous layers of the material through ar iruyuschie layers separating them in the intermediate fibrous layer to a depth equal to the thickness of this layer, the material is generally heat set.
The next objective of the invention is the creation of a conveyor belt of a filter press, which, having high strength and stability, would have high filtering characteristics without the need for additional use of a package of filter cloths.
This problem is solved due to the fact that the conveyor belt of the filter press, made in the form of a movable endless textile web, is made of a multilayer non-woven filter material, which includes three fibrous layers of staple synthetic fibers and two reinforcing layers made in the form of fabric from synthetic threads, bonded together by needle piercing, with each of the reinforcing layers located between two fibrous layers of staple synthetic fibers, bundles of fibers of these layers The yarns formed by bonding by needle piercing pass through the reinforcing layers into an intermediate fibrous layer separating them to a depth equal to the thickness of this layer, and the material as a whole is thermofixed.
The drawing schematically shows a cross section of a material according to the invention.
Information confirming the possibility of carrying out the invention
As shown in the drawing, the multilayer non-woven filter material includes fibrous layers 1, 2, 3 of staple synthetic fibers and the reinforcing layers 4 and 5 located between them in the form of a fabric of synthetic yarns. The fibrous layers 1, 2, 3 and the reinforcing fabrics 4 and 5 are bonded to each other by fibrous bundles 6 formed during needle-piercing of the fibrous layers.
In this case, the bundles 6 pass from the outer fibrous layers 1 and 3 through the reinforcing fabrics 4 and 5 into the fibrous layer 2 separating them to a depth equal to the thickness of this layer.
The described material is subjected to heat setting by processing in a hot air environment and subsequent calendering.
The described material is sewn into a continuous conveyor belt, which is tucked into a batch filter press. In this case, the conveyor belt goes around the filter press plates, and the outer surfaces of the outer fibrous layers 1 and 3 of the material alternately turn out to be facing the flow of the suspension supplied to the filter press. After the filter press is fully loaded, the filter conveyor belt is clamped between the plates, as a result of which the suspension is filtered. While large particles of the suspension are deposited alternately on the outer fibrous layers 1 and 3, forming a slurry layer on them, which further contributes to the retention of smaller particles. The smallest particles penetrate through the outer fibrous layers 1 and 3 and the reinforcing fabrics 4 and 5 into the intermediate fibrous layer 2 separating them and are held in it due to the fact that its density is higher than the density of the outer fibrous layers 1 and 3 due to the larger number of fiber bundles 6, contained in the intermediate fibrous layer 2. After filtering, the filter press plates are unclenched and the stationary filter conveyor belt is washed with countercurrent water, i.e. in the opposite direction to the suspension loading and filtration. In this case, small particles held in the intermediate fibrous layer 2 are captured by the wash water stream and through the reinforcing fabrics 4 and 5 and less dense outer fibrous layers 1 and 2 pass into the formed slurry layer, being held therein. The filtering conveyor belt with the slurry layer located on it is subjected to extraction and moves under the scraper, which removes the slurry layer from it. Then the cycles of the filter press are repeated. Due to the presence in the proposed material of two reinforcing layers of fabric spaced apart by the thickness of the material, and thermal fixation of the latter, high strength and dimensional stability of the filtering conveyor belt are ensured.
The material can withstand a breaking load of at least 300 - 350 daN.
The stability of the linear dimensions of the conveyor belt is maintained for at least 250 hours of its operation.
17-04-15-236-89. As the reinforcing fabric 4 and 5 is used, for example, fabric from a complex polyester yarn according to TU 17-04-15-236-89.
The fibrous layers 1, 2 and 3 are made predominantly of polypropylene and / or polyester fibers, depending on the operating conditions.
