Description

 The invention relates to the forest industry and can be used in agricultural machinery.
 A device for cutting knots from felled trees is known, which includes a pulling mechanism and V-shaped power cutting knives, made with the possibility of rotation around vertical axes and mounted on supports located in the same plane with a variable pitch, under which a conveyor is mounted for harvesting branches, and pulling the mechanism is made in the form of rotary ruffles located at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the device (as.with. 308869, class B 27 G 1/00).
 The disadvantage of this device is the inability to select branches of no more than a given diameter.
 The closest in technical essence to the achieved effect technical solution (prototype) to the alleged invention is a knife head for branching branches, containing a base on which two-arm levers of various lengths are pivotally mounted with cutting knives arranged in a circle made in the form of V-shaped plates, the vertices of which are located in the direction of the feed direction, and the cutting edges of the knives are serrated, with a dividing plate fixed at each top of the knife, the end of which is directed in the direction opposite to the feed direction (AS 1054050, CL B 27 G 1/00).
 The disadvantages of this device are its design complexity and large dimensions, the difficulty in girth of the crown of large dimensions, the large masses of levers of great length and weight.
 The disadvantages include the inertia in the operation of the system having a large moving mass in connection with this low productivity of the device.
 The technical result - the combination of operations on pruning branches and separation of greenery, simplifying the design and increasing the efficiency of selection of branches of no more than a given diameter.
 The result is achieved by the fact that in the device for trimming branches, the levers are made in the form of semicircles on which V-shaped knives are combined under the plate selectors installed in planes parallel to the total feed vector of the tree crown. The device is an additional equipment of the delimbing machine and is mounted on an additional beam in front of the delimbing head. The beam is mounted on a hinge and in the transport position rises due to which the dimensions of the installation are reduced.

 A device for trimming branches of no more than a specified diameter contains V-shaped knives 1 mounted under a plate selector 2 and mounted on a lever 3. The levers are pivotally connected to the base 4.
 The device operates as follows.
 A progressive movement is communicated to the tree, in which the branches of the crown to be cut are squeezed by levers and fall between the selector plates and into the grooves of the cutting and saw blades 1, in the latter, they are wedged and cut. The selection of branches by thickness is carried out by a plate selector. Branches having a diameter greater than a specified do not fall into the groove between the plates, do not contact the knives located below the selectors, and pass the device uncut. The design of the device allows you to process trees in a wide range of diameters and lengths. The mechanization of the separation of branches for the purpose of processing them will increase the profitability of the use of raw materials for branches by industry, and their separation into various flows creates the conditions for the full use of wood biomass.
 On the other hand, trees freed from a significant part of conifers and greenery become more uniform in the ratio of bark and wood, and the relative content of wood in them increases. This will make it possible to more successfully resolve issues of their further processing or debarking in order to use them for the production of wood pulp.

  1.  A device for trimming branches, containing a base, levers with cutting knives in the form of V-shaped plates, characterized in that the levers are made in the form of semicircles on which the V-shaped knives are combined under the plate selectors installed in planes parallel to the total tree crown feed vector .
