Abstract
Description
The invention relates to thermal protection devices and can be used in various sectors of the economy. The primary area of use is the protection of apparatus and equipment operating at cryogenic temperatures from heat influx from the environment, as well as in panels of building structures.
Known cellular thermal insulation (Heat transfer at low temperatures. Ed. U. Frost, trans. From English. M. "Mir", 1977, p.46, Fig. 2.13), consisting of cellular reinforcement made of fiberglass on phenolic resin and filled with low density polyurethane, an adhesive for sealing pasted foam material, cladding and sealing barriers. Instead of polyurethane, honeycombs can be filled with helium.
The disadvantage of this thermal insulation is the low manufacturability, due to both the complexity of manufacturing the cell panels themselves and the complexity of the process of forming the insulation itself. In addition, honeycomb panels have reduced strength characteristics, since when exposed to a load, their walls work both in compression and in longitudinal stability.
The closest technical solution selected as a prototype is thermal insulation (ed. St. USSR 1679129, F 16 L 59/06, 1989), intended for use in cryogenic technology, which consists of honeycomb fittings, a sealing layer and cladding, honeycomb the reinforcement is made in the form of several layers directly in contact with each other whose cells are offset relative to each other, and in addition, the reinforcement cells have the shape of a regular hexagon in cross section, and the layers are shifted along one of its diagonals to the floor a barn cell.
The disadvantage of this thermal insulation is the low manufacturability, due to both the complexity of the manufacturing process of the honeycomb panels themselves and the difficulty of forming the insulation itself, since it is necessary to maintain the accuracy of the shift layers. In addition, the panels have reduced strength characteristics, since when exposed to a load, both compression stress and longitudinal stability stress arise in their walls.
The claimed invention is aimed at solving the problem of creating thermal insulation with high manufacturability and improved strength characteristics.
90o.The essence of the invention lies in the fact that in thermal insulation, including cladding and insulation, made in the form of several layers in contact with each other, the layers of insulation are made in the form of continuous corrugated sheets, with each subsequent sheet rotated relative to the previous figure, for example, 90 o .
1) арматура выполнена в виде сплошных гофрированных листов;
90o.Comparative analysis with the prototype shows that the claimed isolation has the following distinctive features:
1) the reinforcement is made in the form of continuous corrugated sheets;
2) each subsequent sheet is rotated relative to the previous figure by 90 o .
1.The implementation of the reinforcement in the form of a continuous corrugated sheet significantly improves its manufacturing technology compared to honeycombs having a regular hexagon in cross section, the manufacture of which requires sophisticated technological equipment. Thermal insulation from honeycomb panels is carried out with a displacement of the layers diagonally by half its length to reduce the contact area, which requires high accuracy in the formation of the layers. The proposed technical solution proposes to perform a relative rotation of the layers to achieve a decrease in the contact area. A rotation of 90 ° gives the maximum possible reduction in contact, which at the same time simplifies the technology of manufacturing thermal insulation. The execution of sheets with corrugations increases the rigidity of the panel compared to the perforated panel. This is due to the fact that during power contact in the perforated honeycomb panels, only one wall is used at the contact point, and in the corrugated panel, contact occurs along the corrugation tops, and in this case the voltage is perceived by two walls forming a corrugation fold, which doubles the moment of resistance to the resulting voltage . This allows the use of a thermal panel at higher loads.
In FIG. 1 shows the design of thermal insulation, section; in FIG. 2
section AA in FIG. one.
Thermal insulation contains two
1. Теплопроводностью по стенкам арматуры и через места непосредственного контакта;
2. Теплопроводностью и конвективным переносом тепла в газе, заполняющем полость тепловой изоляции;
The described thermal insulation works as follows. The thermal energy of the environment heats the
1. Thermal conductivity on the walls of the reinforcement and through places of direct contact;
2. Thermal conductivity and convective heat transfer in the gas filling the cavity of thermal insulation;
3. Radiant heat transfer between surfaces.
The main channel of the heat gain is the material of the reinforcement.
The proposed insulation is a structure having high thermal resistance, which is achieved not only through the use of low-heat-conducting material, but also through the creation of a point contact system between the insulation layers. When thermal energy passes through this system, a thickening of the heat flux lines to the spots of point contact occurs and, as a result, additional thermal resistance. The actual area of contact spots is significantly reduced due to the natural surface roughness of the reinforcing sheets. The higher the degree of roughness, the less heat gain on the contact spots. The degree of roughness of the sheets can be easily increased without changing the technological process of their manufacture. Having passed through
The rational profile of the corrugation, for example, corrugated, gives vaulted support in places of loading, which allows the use of thin sheets, and this increases the thermal resistance of the reinforcement walls and the integral thermal resistance of insulation.
1. Малый теплоприток через корпус криомодуля улучшает условия работы внутренних опор сверхпроводящего контура (уменьшает градиент температур) и понижает тем самым требования к их собственной теплопроводности. Это дает свободу варьирования конструкции опор для достижения оптимальных весовых и прочностных характеристик;
2. Малый вес панелей тепловой изоляции позволяет значительно уменьшить вес криомодуля, что важно для летающего экипажа ВСНТ;
The use of the proposed thermal insulation, for example, for the manufacture of cases, supports and other parts of cryomodules used as power units of high-speed ground transport, gives the following positive effects:
1. Small heat gain through the cryomodule housing improves the working conditions of the internal supports of the superconducting circuit (reduces the temperature gradient) and thereby reduces the requirements for their own thermal conductivity. This gives freedom to vary the design of the supports to achieve optimal weight and strength characteristics;
2. The low weight of the thermal insulation panels allows to significantly reduce the weight of the cryomodule, which is important for the VSNT flying crew;
3. Walls made of insulating panels are good vibration absorbers.
