Abstract

1. Claims (15)

1. A system configured to provide respiratory therapy for a subject having airways, comprising:
a pressure generator (140) configured to form a pressurized stream for delivery to the subject's respiratory tract during respiratory therapy, the pressurized stream including respiratory gas;
one or more sensors (142) configured to generate one or more output signals transmitting information related to one or more gas parameters for the pressurized stream; and
one or more processors (110) configured to execute processing units, the processing units comprising:
a control module (111) configured to control a pressure generator to provide pressurized flow during a therapy session;
a therapy module (113) configured to adjust the levels of one or more parameters of the gas of the pressurized stream;
an operation module (114) configured to collect operation information based on the provided pressurized flow; and
an entry level module (115) configured to determine an initial level of one or more gas parameters
under pressure, the determination is based on the collected information on the operation, while the collected information on the operation corresponds to the therapeutic operation of the system, covering at least the threshold interval of operation, while the threshold interval of operation is more than one therapy session, and this collected operation information includes the pressure level of the pressurized stream;
wherein the therapy module is further configured to apply an initial level at the beginning of the therapy session.
2. The system according to claim 1, wherein the threshold operation interval is thirty hours of therapeutic operation of the system, and the collected operation information relates to a predetermined percentile pressure level of the stream under pressure.
