Abstract
Description
Utility Model Description
The present invention relates to medicine, in particular to
devices for brushing teeth using ultrasound, and
intended for cleaning the entire dentition. Mouthguard
contains a node of an arcuate base, the first flexible rod element,
two side carriages and drive unit. Arc base unit
contains two side sections and a module for carriage movement
relative to each other in the horizontal plane. Front ends of two
the side sections are rotatably connected with
opposite ends of the central section such that
the rear ends of the side sections are movable outward and inward,
with provision of an adjustable width of a mouth guard. First flexible rod
threaded element is connected at its free ends to the rear
the ends of the side sections of the base assembly to support
arch-like shape of the core element, similar to the shape of the knot
grounds. Carriages in motion relative to each other for
adjustments to the geometry of the jaw of a person, include mechanical
elements for cleaning the dentition. Drive unit for moving two
side carriages located along opposite sides of the shaft for
brushing your teeth. The perforated base of the frame contains tunnels for
integrating motor elements containing tufts of bristles.
The design of the device allows the use of the invention by people with
different jaw geometry, as the frame is equipped with a trimming system
under the individual structure of the oral cavity of the user.
Inventions in the form of mouthguards for brushing teeth are distributed among
oral care devices and are different from the usual
personal hygiene products with their simultaneous function
exposure to the entire surface of the dentition, providing
effective and quick cleansing of teeth and interdental spaces. Such
devices minimize or exclude the role of man in the process
personal care, thereby reducing the likelihood of committing
mistakes when brushing your teeth. The simultaneous cleaning system provides
effective brushing of teeth, interdental spaces, gingival pockets,
fissure of dental units, acting on them with mechanical carriages with
bristly elements. This cleaning is more reliable and faster.
compared to manual and electric toothbrushes.
The design of such devices involves tuning modules for
individual parameters of intraoral human geometry,
involving sagittal and transversal resizing
directions.
The most common way to adjust the size of the cap for
human parameters, is the physical trimming of the model under
values, or the use of softening materials in the design.
Another way to effectively customize your mouthguard, respectively
geometric characteristics of the user, consists in conducting
scanning procedures by a dentist in
dental clinic dental user geometry and then in
fitting or adapting the mouthguard to this configuration. Main disadvantage
such a method is the need for participation in the process of a specialist that
entails significant financial and time costs to the consumer.
From the current level of technology is known analogue, made in
the shape of the tray, including mechanical cleaning elements with different
sections of bristles for different dental areas (patent RU 2550429, publ.
05/10/2015), which consists of a frame in the form of a mouthpiece and integrated into
him mechanical cleaning modules.
The disadvantage of this technical solution is the impossibility
adjusting the cap for the individual geometric parameters of the jaw
human, as well as low cleaning efficiency.
Accordingly, it is desirable to provide a cap device that
can be easily individually customized by the user to adapt to
intraoral geometry of the user, in particular to different values
width and length.
The closest to the claimed technical solution is capa
for brushing teeth with adjustable arc length and / or arc width (patent
RU 2620344, publ. 12/17/2012). This device also includes a system.
adjustments to the geometric parameters of the human oral cavity.
The disadvantages of this technical solution are mechanical
cleaning modules that do not allow to affect the entire surface of the dentition,
due to which the efficiency of the device becomes insufficient for
conducting personal hygiene procedures.
The task to which the invention is directed,
is the implementation of a highly effective oral cleaning procedure
as part of personal hygiene with an adaptable device
under the structural features of the oral cavity of the user using
ultrasonic elements.
This problem is solved due to the fact that the declared cap for cleaning
teeth contains a node of an arcuate base, the first flexible rod
element, two side carriages and drive unit. Arcuate knot
the base contains two side sections and a module providing
the movement of the carriages relative to each other in the horizontal plane.
The front ends of the two side sections are connected with the possibility
turning with opposite ends of the central section so
so that the rear ends of the side portions are movable
out and in, with the provision of an adjustable width of the mouthpiece. The first
a flexible threaded rod element is connected on its free
ends with the rear ends of the side portions of the base assembly to
maintain an arch-like shape of the core element similar to the shape
base unit. Carriages in motion relative to each other
for adjusting to the geometry of the jaw of a person, include mechanical
elements for cleaning the dentition.
Frame axis
the brush-cap contains piezoelectric elements providing ultrasonic
cavitation. Piezoelectric elements can be integrated into the center of the frame
devices or on the peripheral planes of the tray.
The technical result provided by
a combination of features is an effective procedure for cleaning the cavity
mouth with in-depth cleaning of interdental spaces and gingival pockets
cavitation bubbles modulated piezoelectric elements.
The invention is illustrated by drawings, which depict:
Figure 1 is a bottom view of part of the capa system described and claimed in
this application with piezoelectric elements;
FIG. 2 is a plan view of a portion of the capa system shown in FIG. 1;
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the capa system shown in FIG. 1;
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the capa system shown in FIG.
1.
FIG. 1 is a top view of a toothbrush mouth guard cleansing
a portion of which is adapted to be inserted into a user's mouth. Mouth guard,
shown in FIG. 1, contains two nodes 1 of the base. Hard elements
1 are located on opposite sides of the mouthpiece and correspond to the side
dental areas of the mouth. Two side elements 1 are connected to
opposite ends of the intermediate hard element
by means of hinges 2 or similar elements, which allows rotation
side elements from side to side. This movement of the side
elements of the base allows individual adjustment (change) under
the width of the intraoral geometry, as shown by the arrows near the posterior
ends of the frame.
Two base elements form the structural basis for the mouth guard.
In the shown embodiment, two side base elements
made of hard material, are flat and usually make up
about 12.7 mm in width along most of their length and 2.54-7.62 mm in
thickness, however, the dimensions shown are subject to change. Three elements
the bases may vary in their exact peripheral configuration.
Several figures show the same device.
The rigid modules of the frame 1 contain perforated holes for
integration of engines 3 with holders of bristles 4 and piezoelectric elements 5.
The electric impulse coming from the battery feeds the engines,
carrying out mechanical cleaning. The same impulse activates the work
piezoelectric elements 5.
The electric motor unit with the gearbox is connected to the motors so that
drive motors with bristle holders fixed
semi-axes of the mouthpiece 1 with the frame holders of the engines 6.
In the shown embodiment, each cleaning carriage
approximately equal to 25.4 mm in length and 18 mm in width, and 25.4 mm in height.
Side bristle holders usually clean molar areas of the teeth.
The bristles are adapted for cleaning tooth surfaces, bristles
mechanically contact with the teeth and clean them on both the upper and
lower jaw simultaneously, including lateral surfaces and flat
upper surfaces of the teeth. It should be understood that although bristle holders
in the shown embodiment have bristles for brushing teeth,
other toothbrushing devices are possible, including
pads or other similar cleaning elements.
The above device provides the possibility of individual
settings for different device lengths. As mentioned above
individual width adjustment possible
a base / shaft element device in which the side elements
can be easily moved out / in relative to the front element, for
adjustments to the individual intraoral geometry of the user.
For proper operation, the cap needs to base the device
during operation as follows. Capa is placed between two
jaw arches, held by the jaws. Arc Capa 1 tight
adjacent to the surface of the dentition. Each bristle holder 4
covers the tooth surface area of 1.34 mm 2 occlusal
surface, 0.84 mm 2 of the approximate surface, including the same depth
in the interdental spaces. This action continues until
the entire stroke is covered, and all molar teeth are not cleaned.
The vibration frequency of the mechanical elements is relatively low,
usually in the range, for example, from ½ to 5 Hz. Ultrasonic ceramic
piezoelectric elements operate at a frequency of 0.9-1.8 MHz.
As a result of the mouthpiece, all intraoral (dental) geometry
The user is cleaned / cleaned thoroughly and reliably. One important thing
the advantage of the mouthpiece is also that no teeth are missing
by accident, for example, due to incorrect methods used
by the user when brushing, and all teeth are brushed approximately
the same way. This advantage eliminates the lack of control.
a person in whom certain areas of the mouth are inevitably not exposed
appropriate thorough cleaning. Node device shown
base / shaft eliminates a significant drawback of conventional cap
that this device in a convenient manner provides the required
the ability to customize for a specific user as
the width and the length of the mouthpiece.
