Abstract
3 з.п. The utility model relates to the field of temperature measurement in areas with strong electromagnetic interference, in areas of increased explosion and fire hazard, for measurements under high voltage and in other conditions where the use of standard electronic means of monitoring the temperature state is inadmissible, namely, systems for monitoring the temperature state in medicine, at power supply facilities, engineering structures. The fiber-optic thermometer contains, in contrast to the prototype, an optical splitter, the input and outputs of which are respectively connected by fiber optic fibers with the third output of the light distribution system and with each fiber-optic sensor, and in each fiber-optic sensor before the first fiber recorded on the end of the fiber the Bragg grating recorded the second Bragg fiber grating with at least two π-phase shifts symmetrically located relative to its central wavelength, which Single coincides with the central wavelength of the first fiber Bragg grating over the entire range of measured temperatures, and spaced apart by an amount Δλ, not exceeding the width of the spectrum. In a fiber-optic thermometer in each fiber-optic sensor, the first Bragg fiber lattice can be written either as a continuation of the second Bragg fiber lattice, then the sensor design looks like a probe, or at a distance from the second Bragg fiber lattice, which allows you to fold the loop, and lay the first fiber Bragg grating in direct contact with the second, fixing them on the tip of an arbitrary flat or volumetric shape, then the sensor design has an annular shape. Also, in fiber-optic sensors, the phase shift is Δλ ≠ Δλ, where i and j are the numbers of fiber-optic sensors, i, j∈N, where N is the set of fiber-optic sensors of the thermometer, and the difference Δλ-Δλ is not equal to and is not a multiple of in general and particular Δλ and Δλ. The technical result is an increase in the sensitivity of measurements. 3 s.p. f-ly, 5 ill.
Description
The utility model relates to the field of temperature measurement in areas with strong electromagnetic interference, in areas of increased explosion and fire hazard, for measurements under high voltage and in other conditions where the use of standard electronic means of monitoring the temperature state is inadmissible, namely, systems for monitoring the temperature state in medicine, at power supply facilities, engineering structures.
A fiber-optic thermometer is known, which includes a fiber-optic temperature sensor with a temperature-sensitive element made of gallium arsenide located at its end (US patent US 2006/0251147 A1 "Control and monitoring of temperature changes", published 09.11.2006) and a recording system.
Temperature measurement is carried out upon contact of the thermosensitive element with the surface of the object. A constructive disadvantage of such a thermometer is the complicated technology of manufacturing the sensor, the use of multimode fibers, which limits the measurement range by the range of the sensors and the measurement accuracy. In addition, the low sensitivity of the measurements is determined by the detection of information signals in the DC region, characterized by a high level of intrinsic noise of the photodetector, and the lack of direct addressing of the sensor.
Closest to the proposed technical solution is a fiber-optic thermometer (RF patent RU 2491523 C1, “Fiber-optic thermometer”, published August 27, 2013), which solves the technical problem of increasing the accuracy of measurement, simplifying the design of the sensor, and mechanical hardening if it is possible to manufacture the sensor with a communication line length of up to 30 kilometers.
The problem is solved in that the fiber optic thermometer consists of a light source, a microcontroller, a light distribution system, an optical filter, a fiber optic switch, at least two photodetectors, at least one fiber optic sensor in the form of a probe, while the fiber optic switch is connected on one side to the fiber optic probes by means of a fiber waveguide, on the other hand, with a light distribution system, the light source is connected to a light distribution By means of a fiber optic system, the light distribution system is designed in such a way that there is a branching into the reference and measuring channels, while the measuring channel is designed so that between the light distribution system and the photodetector there is an optical filter connected to them by means of a fiber optical fiber, the reference channel is made in as a photodetector connected directly to the light distribution system by means of a fiber optic fiber, photodetectors connected to a microcontrol erom via electrical wires.
In particular, the light distribution system can be made in the form of at least one fiber optic circulator and a splitter; a filter made in the form of a Bragg fiber grating or a long-period grating, and at least one fiber optic switch connected by a fiber optic fiber; fiber optic components may be single mode; the fiber optic probe can be made in the form of a Bragg fiber optic array recorded on a standard SMF-28 fiber optic fiber or a high german fiber with a polyimide coating.
The disadvantage of this fiber-optic thermometer is the low sensitivity due to the detection of the DC temperature information signal, as the determination of the ratio of signal powers at the output of two photodetectors, depending on the spectral position of the light reflected from the sensor compared to the position of the optical filter, despite the fact that the measurement is carried out differentially, which in general allows to increase the accuracy of temperature measurement by eliminating the influence of instabilities light source and external factors acting equally on the reference and measuring channel. In addition, in this technical solution, there is still no direct targeting of the sensor — the Bragg fiber grating recorded near the end of the fiber-optic probe. There is only indirect targeting by the conditional position of the optical switch, which in turn limits the measurement process to sequential measurements only (interrogation of fiber optic probes with a certain limited speed).
The technical problem is the lack of sensitivity of the measurements.

5.In each fiber-optic sensor 3 1 -3 N in the second Bragg

When implementing a fiber-optic thermometer, all of these blocks of generation, reception and processing of signals can be performed on a single chip or in an integrated version.
Compared with the prototype, the proposed fiber-optic thermometer allows to increase the sensitivity of measurements by processing the signal at the beat frequency of the components of the two-frequency signal, equal to the difference frequency between them, which significantly reduces the passband of the receiving part of the device (from units of GHz to units of MHz) and accordingly increases signal to noise ratio.
An additional advantage of the proposed fiber-optic thermometer in comparison with the prototype is that the elimination of the fiber-optic switch from the circuit, in which only indirect targeting was possible, allows the interrogation of fiber-optic sensors with unlimited speed.
Tests of the prototype fiber-optic thermometer were carried out on optical sensors manufactured at the Scientific Research Institute of Scientific and Practical Sciences Knitu-KAI (Kazan), calibrated on optical ANDO spectrum analyzers in the same place, the number of fiber-optic sensors is 256. Studies have shown that the use of the proposed fiber-optic thermometer, allows to increase the sensitivity of measurements by 3-6 times, while the error in measuring temperature is ± 0.3 ° C in the range of 240 ° C. The measurement error was determined mainly by the error of the ADC of the microcontroller, as well as the inaccuracy of manufacturing the second Bragg fiber grating with two phase shifts.
All this allows us to talk about achieving a solution to the technical problem - increasing the sensitivity of measurements.
