State of the art
Currently, well-known cabinets in general are used to place remote control units, to form technological protection teams; signaling, analog-discrete signal conversion, logical signal conversion, time delays, voltage conversion, providing in-cabinet connections between blocks and cross terminal blocks.
In this case, power sources, for example, type P41240 / 1 are installed in these cabinets. Such a source is designed to power the functional units in accordance with the functional purpose and for the correct and safe control of the mechanisms of power plants is installed in the UKTS-M cabinet, which provides the conditions for its normal functioning.
The UKTS-M cabinet as a whole serves for placement of remote control units, formation of technological protection teams; signaling, analog-discrete signal conversion, logical signal conversion, time delays, voltage conversion, providing in-cabinet connections between blocks and cross terminal blocks.
UKTS performs the functions of controlling technological parameters and controlling equipment of technological systems in accordance with the algorithms specified in UKTS.
In emergency conditions, when the initiating event is generated, UKTS provides the necessary signals for the impact on the mechanisms and electrical fittings of technological safety systems. The mechanisms are started in a certain sequence, the closing / opening of valves occurs in accordance with the logic of the operation of technological systems. UKTS manages the equipment of technological systems of nuclear power plants.
For example, a power source is known as part of a device — a control cabinet containing a vertically oriented rectangular frame formed by vertical racks and front beams fastened together, while the cabinet is made with compartments separated by a vertical partition: cable connections and functional equipment, the last of which is equipped with retractable modular blocks installed in tiers throughout the compartment, while on each tier for each modular block guides are fixed, and each modular block is equipped with guides for interacting with the guides of the corresponding tier and the clamp of the required position in the cabinet, providing independent extension of any block. At the same time, the position lock of the block contains a spring-loaded rod fixed to the base of the block, connected with a handle mounted for movement in a L-shaped hole made on the front panel of the block, with horizontal plates with rows of holes for entering into them installed on each tier them corresponding spring-loaded latch (see patent for utility model RU 61471, 02.27.2007).
The closest analogue of the claimed utility model is the power source in the KSO KTPS-PN cabinet for collecting data on the state of the NPP technological equipment, which consists of three subracks, one of which is used to install service units: power sources, voltage control unit, network devices, the second and the third serve to install functional blocks that provide the collection of analog signals - unified signals of direct current and voltage, signals from thermocouples and resistance thermocouples, and also collecting and issuing discrete signals, and the functional blocks have a redundant internal structure for converting the input signal and are connected by a local line according to the RS-485 standard, which provides the possibility of sequential polling of the functional blocks with a cycle of less than 20 ms, while filters are suppressed in the functional blocks to suppress sinusoidal interference at frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz, while the analog blocks are used galvanic isolation in digital circuits and high-precision measuring CPU, and the enclosure line connection from the functional units to the inputs concentrators fully duplicated (see. Utility Model Patent RU 136608, 01/10/2014).
Typically, in UKTS complexes, input (measurement of values) of analog signals takes place, input of discrete signals that determine the state of equipment and technological processes of a nuclear power unit, logical processing, output of control and signaling commands from UKTS-M cabinets in which P41240 / 1 power sources are located.
The disadvantages of the power source P41240 / 1 include:
- low reliability of components;
- high heat dissipation and, as a result, the need to install fans in the cabinet where the power source is installed;

The technical result is to increase the reliability of the developed power source with a voltage of 15 V (GN-20A-15) of a standardized complex of technical equipment UKTS.
The claimed technical result is achieved by the fact that a power supply with a voltage of 15 V at the output of the cabinet of the base (SB) complex of technical and software tools of increased reliability (KTPS-PN) for automating the control of technological equipment of a power plant is characterized by the fact that it contains a push-pull half-bridge converter pulse modulation (PWM), contacts for connecting to power circuits, a local network and terminal blocks and an instantaneous shutdown unit to protect against a decrease in the output voltage.
Utility Model Implementation
The GN-20A-15 power source is built using highly reliable electronic components according to the scheme with a transformerless input and circuitry solutions ensuring its reliability under conditions of elevated temperature, humidity and when exposed to electromagnetic radiation with an output voltage deviation with a smooth load variation of not more than ± 4% .
Separating diodes are installed at the output of each channel of the power supply, providing the possibility of parallel operation of two GN-20A-15 sources per load.
The GN-20A-15 power source has protection against a decrease in the output voltage (instantaneous shutdown unit BMO), which operates at a voltage of (12.0 ... 13.0) V at the output plus 15 V and ensures that the output voltage plus 15 V turns off from level 12 , 0 V to the level of 3.0 V with a duration of recession of not more than 3 ms.
The executive element of the BMO is a powerful triac, which, when activated, shorts the output contacts of the source.
Thus, the claimed GN-26-12 power source has capabilities that are not available from known analogues, which is extremely important, since national and international safety requirements are imposed on the operability of equipment providing the technological process, for example, nuclear power plants.
The GN-20A-15 power source is located and operates in the cabinet of the basic UKTS SB or current distributors of the RT (equipped with forced ventilation) of the UKTS unified complex of technical equipment and is designed to power functional blocks in the cabinets of the UKTS unified complex of technical equipment. The GN-20A-15 source is powered from a single-phase alternating current network with a voltage of (187 ... 242) V of industrial frequency or from a direct current network with a voltage of (187 ... 242) V with a ripple of not more than 6%.
The power supply provides:
- voltage +15 V and -15 V DC under normal climatic conditions, and the deviation under all influencing factors does not exceed ± 10% for any filling of the cabinet with blocks;
- reservation of the work of another GN-20A-15 power source installed in the same UKTS-M cabinet, supporting the necessary voltage values of +15 V and -15 V, and ensuring the normal functioning of the cabinet.
The power source is made in a unified design, in its design contains contacts for connecting to the power circuits of the source itself and to the power circuits of the functional and service units of the UKTS. The power supply has a specific installation location in the cabinet.
The power source is part of the group of power supplies for the base cabinet of UKTS and is an integral part of the unified set of technical equipment intended for designing automated control and process control systems and transmitting information about the state of technical equipment of the cabinet and technological equipment to the upper block or station level .
The assigned service life of the unit is at least 30 years.

The electronic components used in the GN-20A-15 power source allow the source to operate without forced ventilation of the cabinet in which the power source is installed at ambient temperatures up to 55 ° C.

In the GN-26-12 power supply, it is possible to connect it to an AC or DC network without performing additional switching procedures.
