Abstract

The invention relates to a protection device (10) for a contact, especially the contact of a fuse link. The inventive protection device (10) comprises a contact protection element (11) which is made of a conductive material which fully covers said contact at least within the action range a counter contact. The invention also relates to a fuse plug (40) for a fuse combination unit (20) with a receiving area for a fuse link (50) and an operating rocker (30) for a fuse combination unit (20) into which a fuse link (50) or a fuse plug (40) with an area for receiving a fuse link (50) can be inserted. The fuse plug (40) or operating rocker (30) include a protection device (10) as described above.
