Description
Wt razie potrzeby mozna srodki te roz¬ cienczac substancjami obojetnymi, np. zie¬ mia, talkiem. PLIt is known to use, as seed dressing, halogen benzene compounds in alignment with their derivatives and simultaneously with halogen and nitro benzene compounds. By treating the seeds with these substances, pathogens present on the seed itself are destroyed. It has now been found that these agents are also suitable for controlling plant diseases, especially rust, by spreading agents The substances obtained from these substances are used as fertilizer, especially as a header fertilizer, ie for spreading onto plants that have already grown. By taking these substances from the soil of the plant, it becomes resistant to pathogenic germs, e.g. the germs of rust, and the presence of agents in the plant does not at all hinder the growth of the plant. The use of these products can, with particular advantage, take place in combination with other fertilizers, e.g. slaked lime or calcium carbonate, potassium salts, Tomas flour, superphosphate, fertilizers, contains nitrogen, or mixed fertilizers, or with soil improvers, e.g. peat, which saves the farmer special work. If necessary, these agents can be diluted with inert substances, for example earth or talcum powder. As halogenated or nitro aromatics, there may be used, for example, pentachloronitrobenzene, isomeric trichloronitrobenzenes, isomeric trichloronitrobenzenes, for example 1,2,4-trichloro-3-nitrobenzene, and 2,4-trichloronitrobenzene. nitrobenzene, /, 2,3-trichloro-4-nitro-benzene, and trichartithiitrocresols, tetrachloropheilol and tetraprpmipcresol, and finally pentachloro mono-iodine. As a mixture with other fertilizers, you can use a product that fights plant pests and consists of 5 parts Sci and, 2,4-trichloro-3,5-dinitrobenzene and 95 parts of Chilean nitrate, for the treatment of sprouted grains of wheat, rye, oats or special crops, e.g. asparagus, which are often suffered during their growth very high rust damage. Also for this purpose you can successfully use a product consisting of 10 parts tetrachloro-o-cresol and 90 parts mixed fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium salt. To combat plasmodiophora hras- sicae "(Kohlhernie) nad A composition is prepared containing 20% pentachloronitrobeinzene and 80% of an inert material or fertilizer, for example soil, talcum powder, slaked lime, calcium carbonate, potassium salt, Tomas flour, superphosphate or a mixed or nitrogen fertilizer. The use of this agent is carried out by scattering it and carefully introducing it into the soil, whereby 20-40 g per 1 m2 are needed. PL
