Abstract

The ship (1) has superstructures arranged into decks (6, 8) lying one above the other, and a stack (5) extending upwards from a moon pool (3). An upper opening is formed on the decks of the stack, where the decks are provided with a removable or openly designed closure (7) i.e. dome or plate-like stack cover. Working and/or research units e.g. container, are arranged adjacent to the stack on the decks at defined application positions (9). The stack and the adjacently defined application positions are implemented for bringing of the working and/or research units.
