Abstract
Se proporciona un aparato (1) y metodos para el procesamiento de biomasa para producir carbon, bio-aceite(s), carbon activado, carbon recarburador, o coque de nuez por medio de energia de microondas. El aparato tiene un tubo giratorio (5) para la recepcion de la biomasa (108), un generador electromagnetico (7). Un metodo proporciona la aplicacion de energia electromagnetica a la biomasa (108) y un material absorbente (109). Un metodo alternativo proporciona permitir un campo de radiacion indirecta del cuerpo negro para desarrollar y exponer la biomasa (108) al campo de radiacion del cuerpo negro y a la energia electromagnetica. Otro metodo proporciona permitir la formacion de plasma y la exposicion de la biomasa al plasma y a la energia electromagnetica. Otro metodo proporciona la introduccion de la biomasa a un segundo recipiente 205, la introduccion del segundo recipiente a un primer recipiente de reaccion (5), la aplicacion de energia electromagnetica a la biomasa y un material absorbente (109), lo que permite que se forme un plasma en el primer recipiente, el cual calienta la biomasa en el segundo recipiente.
