REFERIDO A UN SISTEMA PARA LA DISTRIBUCION DE UN FLUIDO, POR EJEMPLO SOLVENTES ORGANICOS, AGUA, UNA SOLUCION SALINA ACUOSA, ALCALIS O ACIDOS, VIA UN EMPAQUETAMIENTO DE RELLENO O ALGUN OTRO EMPAQUETAMIENTO ESTRUCTURADO, EN EL CUAL EL FLUIDO ESCURRE DESDE LA PARTE SUPERIOR A LA PARTE INFERIOR, PREFERENTEMENTE EN UN FLUJO A CONTRACORRIENTE O A FAVOR DE LA CORRIENTE CON UN GAS QUE CONTIENE POR EJEMPLO SO3 O SUSTANCIAS NOCIVAS, COMPRENDIENDO POR LO MENOS UN MIEMBRO DE DISTRIBUCION, A PARTIR DEL CUAL EL FLUIDO SE INTRODUCE A TRAVES DE ABERTURAS EN UN CANAL DE DISTRIBUCION, DE TAL MANERA QUE POR DEBAJO DE LAS ABERTURAS SE OBTIENE UN NIVEL DE FLUIDO ESPECIFICADO EN EL CANAL DE DISTRIBUCION; DONDE EL FLUIDO ES DESCARGADO DESDE EL CANAL DE DISTRIBUCION A TRAVES DE AL MENOS UNA RANURA DE SALIDA DE ANCHO ESPECIFICADO EN EL EXTREMO INFERIOR DEL CANAL DE DISTRIBUCION AL EMPAQUETAMIENTO DE RELLENO POR MEDIO DE UN MIEMBRO GUIA.
