Abstract

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a power storage control device, power conversion device, power storage system, power storage control method, and program with which the deterioration of a storage battery that normally has a small amount of residual power can be inhibited by stopping the charging and discharging of the storage battery, and with which the number of times a storage battery is replaced can be reduced. In a power storage control device, power conversion device, power storage system, power storage control method, and program according to the present invention, a control unit (2a) of a power storage control device (2) has, as control modes: a first mode, in which charging and discharging are permitted if the amount of residual power in a storage battery (13) is at least equal to a threshold value, and charging and discharging are prohibited if the amount of residual power is less than the threshold value; and a second mode, in which charging is permitted to begin if the amount of residual power is less than the threshold value. When the control unit (2a) is controlling in the first mode and charging and discharging are prohibited, a mode switching unit (2b) allows the control mode to switch to the second mode.
