Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en fremgangsmåte for å redusere interfe- rens, og et radiosystem hvor et signal som er spredningskodet ved hjelp av digital pseudostøy, benyttes for kommunikasjon. Siden forsinkelses-fordelingen for sig- nalene fra abonnentterminal-utstyr (12 til 16) ved basestasjoner (10 til 1t) er stor, og således signalenes innbyrdes interferens også kan være stor, justerer base- stasjonen (10 til 11) fasen for abonnentterminal-utstyrenes (12 tU 16) sprednings- koder, slik at interferensen reduseres. Dette foregår slik at fasen for abonnent- terminal-utstyrets (12 til 16) spredningskode f.eks. justeres ved å tilføye eller trek- ke fra chips i spredningskoden, hvorved krysskorrelasjonen for signalene fra for- skjellige abonnentterminal-utstyr (12 til 16) vil bli redusert ved basestasjonen (10 til 11). En annen mulighet er å hoppe spredningskodens fase i det minste mellom to forskjellige faser. Fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen vil muliggjøre høyere datahastigheter enn tidligere, og redusere beregningen som er nødvendig for korrigering av interferens.
