Abstract

Staurosporin ble fremstilt ved dyrkning av en stauro- sporin-produserende stamme av Streptomyces hygroscopicus i et vandig næringsmedium under submerse aerobe betingelser, inntil en betydelig mengde staurosporin var dannet av organismen i dyrkningsmediet, og deretter ble staurosporin, som i alt det vesentlige var fri for ko-produserede stoffer, utvunnet fra mediet.
