Abstract
En fremgangsmåte og apparat for adaptivt å forskyve en kanalkvalitetsindikator (CQI) brukt for å innstille en konfigurasjon for kommunikasjon mellom en sender og mottaker i et trådløst kommunikasjonssystem. Mottakeren sender en CQI og positiv kvittering (ACK)/ negativ kvittering (NACK) meldinger til senderen. ACK/NACK meldingene indikerer fraværet eller tilstedeværelsen av feil, respektivt, i en sendt datapakke. Nevnte CQI er utledet fra signal-til-interferensforholdet (SIR) og ACK/NACK meldingene. Senderen beregner blokkfeilraten (BLER) til de sendte datapakkene basert på ACK/NACK meldingene sendt fra mottakeren. Senderen sammenlikner BLER til de sendte datapakkene med en målsatt BLER og forskyver CQI basert på sammenlikningen for å oppnå den målsatte BLER.
