Abstract

Oppfinnelsen gjelder en metode for fremstilling av nitratholdige produkter (gjødsel, tekniske produkter) av underkjølte smelter, hvor en XN-vannløsning inndampes til et innhold på 50-99,8 vekt-% XN, hvor XN er en eller flere av Ca, Mg, NH4, Na og K, og N er nitrat. Det foretrukne konsentrasjonsområde for XN er 70-99,5 vekt-%. Smelten avkjøles til og holdes ved en temperatur ved eller under krystallisasjonspunktet og finfordelt fast XN-pulver som består av likevektsfasene tilsettes til smelten. Smeltedråper dannes derved og tillates å avkjøles og stivne i løpet av opp til 70 sekunder. Det er foretrukket å benytte et kjølebelte for å stivne partiklene. Beltet avkjøles med luft, vann, olje eller annet medium.
