Abstract

The concrete mixing system incorporates separate compartments for sand, gravel and cement, and weighing and transport mechanisms to deliver these ingredients in predetermined quantities into a mixer unit. Here they are mixed with a predetermined quantity of added water, and the mixture is dispensed. The equipment is incorporated in a two-part chassis (1, 2) hinging together (10). When the parts are in line with each other the whole forms a transportable vehicle, and when the front one (2) is inclined to the rear one (1) it can operate as a batch mixing unit. The front part can accommodate the mixer with weighing mechanism and conveyors, also the turntable for the towing vehicle, while the rear one has a baseplate with wheels, and accommodates the compartments for sand and gravel.
