Abstract

The insulation layer is for a ventilated cavity wall. It is of solid material fixed to the inside of the inner wall section, a space being left between it and the outer wall section extending for the entire wall height, and the wall sections are joined by wire anchors. The layer has an insulation plate (7), distance pieces (6), and a cover plate (8). The insulation can have a number of prostrusions running vertically and each forming a hollow space, or it can be flat, working in conjunction with a cover plate equipped with distance pieces.
