Abstract

The printing method uses an ink-permeable, porous rubber stamp (1) in combination with an ink reservoir (2) inside a sleeve (3), so that a continuous ink flow is present when the object (5) is stamped.

Description

Stempel zichzelf vormend naar onregelmatige ondergrondenStamp itself into irregular surfaces

This invention is an improvement in the way in which a print can be left on irregular surfaces by means of a stamping technique, in which a continuous ink flow is present. With this technique the ink pad forms to the surface to be printed / stamped without the help of mechanical applications and / or mechanical constructions. Various unique shapes, with or without relief, can serve as offset for porous and non-porous surfaces. The invention is a solution that relates to being able to visually identify objects of persons by persons, taking into account the following characteristics. That in this way the application of a visual identification to an object in a very short period of time and a small print run (single items) can be realized in a manageable way. For the problem that objects can get out of the visual area during sport, play, leisure and work, this invention offers a fast, suitable and individual solution. It is noted that the patent US4306498 is familiar with the production of reticulated and feltized cell rubber. This is how the following solution comes about. An ink-permeable and porous cellular rubber (1) in combination with an ink cartridge (2) in a sleeve (3). The cell rubber can be produced in various densities, hardnesses, flexibilities and colors via a reticulating and felting production process.

The ink flow can be regulated depending on the density and composition. The ink cartridge can be produced in various forms and qualities. It is specifically the optimum combination between the two elements (1 + 2) that reinforce each other, creating a new application within existing concepts. The ink-permeable rubber can, depending on the composition, take on any desired shape of the underlying surface on which the print should be projected (5) when applying pressure (4). The ink-permeable cell rubber also ensures a continuous ink flow so that in addition to non-porous objects with a regular surface, also highly porous objects with an irregular surface, such as for example dust and stone, can be provided with an identification.
