Description

UBGiqWHT.TA PUKVEMTIOW TUBE
Aid for preventing contamination with legionella baoterie when flushing showers and other draw-off points where aerosol filling can take place.
5
The invention relates to an aid that can be used in flushing showers and other taps where aerosol formation can take place to prevent contamination with the legionella bacterium.
It is a trunk made of plastic film (whether or not provided with a fabric) with a length of approximately 225 cm that can easily be attached to the shower head with a double drawstring at the top. The plastic film is resistant to water temperatures of 15 90® C. The LEGIONELIA PREVENTION TUBE is primarily intended for showers with a fixed shower head but can of course also be used for other showers. If the end of the hose is placed in or near the shower drain, no aerosol formation will be released and no contamination can occur.
20 The LEGIONELIA PREVENTION TUBE is available in various models. One model consists of a trunk with a sort of round container, one model consists of a trunk with a funnel, one model is tapered and one model is a straight trunk. All models have a 25 hem on the top, in which a double cord is made. When tightening the cords, the tube hermetically closes around the shower head. The models are shown on the enclosed sketches.
Different versions will be marketed. One embodiment is a thin plastic film, which can be carried as a disposable product on travel in order to be able to flush the shower in hotels and / or campsites without the risk of contamination with the legionella bacterium. The product can be thrown away after a few uses.
The other embodiment is made of a more durable plastic, so that these tubes can for instance be used several times in sports canteens, swimming pools and the like.
