Abstract

A processing device for a slaughter product comprises an overhead conveyor, and a gear wheel which is connected to the conveyor. A toothed structure sets various first angular positions of the gear wheel, and a rod sets various second angular positions of the second body. A processing device for a slaughter product comprises an overhead conveyor which can move along a path. A gear wheel (168) is connected to the conveyor so that it can rotate in a first axis. A second body (166) is connected to the gear wheel so that it can rotate in a second axis. A toothed structure sets various first angular positions of the gear wheel with respect to the first axis. A rod sets various second angular positions of the second body with respect to the second axis. A locking pawl fixes the first and/or second angular position.

Description

Short designation: Device for the treatment of slaughtered poultry.

The present invention relates to devices for treating slaughtered poultry.

Such a device is, for example, a device for opening the abdominal cavity of a slaughtered poultry in order to subsequently be able to extract the viscera package of the slaughtered poultry with an eviscerating device. In abdominal opening devices it is known to use cam track mechanisms for realizing the movements of the various parts.

The known abdominal opening devices have a complicated construction, which leads to a high cost price, an undesired susceptibility to malfunction, difficult and expensive repairs and undesired contamination of the abdominal opening devices.

The present invention aims, inter alia, to provide measures which lead to a simpler construction of such devices.

In particular, an improved device for opening the abdominal cavity of slaughtered poultry 20 has been proposed. A movable transport carrier for slaughtered poultry or parts thereof is also proposed, in particular a carrier for a breast piece of a slaughtered poultry.

The present invention provides a device for treating slaughtered poultry according to claim 1 for this purpose.

Further advantageous embodiments are described in the subclaims and in the following description with reference to the drawing. In these drawings: Figs. 1a, 1b and 1c show a part of a first exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention with a carrier for a breast piece of a slaughtered poultry which can be moved along an associated transport path in a first position, a second position and a 1012304-2 - third position.

Figures 1a, 1b and 1c show a part of a device 1 for treating slaughtered poultry according to the invention. The device 1 comprises a first construction part with a stationary arranged rail 2 and a second construction part 3 which can be moved along rail 2 by means of drive means (not shown), which will be described in detail below.

The first construction part further comprises a stationary curved track 4, which here is formed by two bars 5,6 spaced apart in a vertical plane. Curve track 4 extends substantially in the direction of rail 2 and has a course of varying distance from rail 2, as can be seen in Figure 1a.

The second construction part 3 comprises a basic body 7, which is coupled to the rail 2 via associated coupling means 8, so that the basic body 7 can be moved along the rail 2. In this example, the coupling means 8 are designed such that the basic body 7 hangs on the rail 2. The coupling means 8 comprise running wheels 9 engaging on either side of the rail 2, which are accommodated in a common coupling yoke 10. At the lower end of the coupling yoke 10 a positioning member 11, which is fixedly connected to the basic body, is rotatable about a vertical axis 7. The angular position of the positioning member 11 and thus of the basic body 7 relative to the rail 2 can be adjusted by means of operating means (not shown). This embodiment of the coupling means 8 and the associated operating row means 1012304 is already generally known.

The second construction part 3 further comprises a curve track follower 13, which is in engagement with the curve track 4. It will be clear that by changing the angular position of the positioning member 11, the curve track follower 13 can also be brought out of engagement with the curve track 4 if that is desired.

The curve track follower 13 here is a roller bearing, which fits between the bars 5 and 6 of the curve track 4.

The cam track follower 13 is movable relative to the basic body 7 in an associated vertical plane of movement by means of a substantially vertically oriented guide slot 15, into which a cam connected to the cam track follower 13 projects.

The second construction part 3 further comprises a rotatable element 20 to be further described, which is rotatably mounted on the basic body 7 about a rotation axis 21. Herein, the rotation axis 21 is substantially horizontal and thus perpendicular to the substantially vertical plane of movement of the cam track follower 13.

The lower part of the basic body 7 forms a first unwinding body 22 and the neighboring part of the rotatable element 20 forms a second unwinding body 23, which unwinding bodies 22 and 23 can be rolled together in the second construction part 3.

Each unrolling body 22, 23 herein defines an associated unrolling surface 24, 25 for the unrolling other unrolling body 23, 22, each unrolling surface 22, 23 extending in a circular arc with an associated radius about a central line associated with the unrolling body 22, 23, respectively. 21 and 25. The central lines 21 and 25 here are parallel to each other.

In the embodiment according to Figures 1a and 1b, each of the unwinding bodies 22, 23 is provided at the location of the associated unwinding surface 24, 25 with a toothing, with which the unwinding body 22, 23 engages with the other unwinding body 23, 22.

The second unwinding body 23, and thus the element 20 fixedly connected thereto, is connected via an arm 27 to the basic body 7. The arm 27 is rotatable about the central line 21 of the first unwinding body 22 relative to the basic body 7 and rotatable about the central line 25 of the second unwinding body 23 relative to the second unwinding body 23 and thus relative to the rotatable element 20.

The curve track follower 13 is coupled to the arm 27 in such a way that a movement of the curve track follower 13 effects a pivoting movement of the arm 27. For this purpose the cam track follower 13 is connected via a coupling rod 28 to a point 29 of the arm 27 remote from the central line 21 of the first unwinding body 22. In this example, the coupling rod 28 is hingedly connected to that point 15 about a line parallel to the axis 21.

The rotatable element 20 is arranged as a holder for holding a part of a slaughtered poultry and in this example comprises a plug-in element 30 where a breast piece of a slaughtered poultry can be put on. The plug-in element 30 is here a pointed part which fits into the breast piece, such that the breast piece clamps thereon.

Thus, with the described device 1, a breast piece can be moved along the rail 2. By the cooperation of the curve track 4 and the curve track follower 13, the orientation of the breast piece can be adjusted as desired, so that the breast piece can be brought into the orientation suitable for a particular operation or operation. As mentioned earlier, the basic body 7 is rotatable about a vertical axis with respect to the coupling yoke 10 by means of the positioning member 11, which is fixedly connected to the basic body 7. In a variant, provision can be made for locking means which ensure that when the curve track follower 13 comes out of engagement with the associated curve track 4, the last position of the plug-on element 30 is maintained. For example, in the position of Figure 1c, a breast piece can be placed on or removed from the plug-on element 30. The locking means 15 can for instance act between the basic body 7 and the rod 28 or between the basic body 7 and the arm 27.

In a possible embodiment, the locking means comprise a spring-preloaded locking pawl.

In a further variant, provision can be made for a second curve track follower to be arranged on the coupling rod 28, which second curve track follower is arranged such that it meshes with an associated curve track if the basic body 7 is described with respect to those previously described and in Figures 1. -2 is turned, so that the curve track follower 13 is no longer in engagement with the curve track 4. In this case, this means that the second curve track follower is oriented at right angles to the first curve track follower 13. In this way, this also remains in that turned position of the basic body 7 enables operation and positioning of the rotatable element 20.

Figure 2 shows a variant of the device 1 from Figures 1 and 2, wherein corresponding parts are provided with the same reference numbers and adapted parts are provided with an accent.

The unwinding bodies 22 'and 23' are not provided with toothed unwinding surfaces but with smooth unwinding surfaces 24 'and 25'. Furthermore, a flexible cord 31 is provided which at one end, at 32, is fixedly connected to unwinding body 22 'and 1012304-6 extending along the associated unwinding surface 24' to the contact point of both unwinding surfaces 24 ', 25' and from there along the unwinding surface 25 'of the other unwinding body 23' to the other end of the cord 31,5 which is secured at 34 to the unwinding body 23 '. Figure 3 shows part of a device 100 for treating slaughtered poultry, which serves as a device for opening the abdominal cavity of a slaughtered poultry. This treatment is described in PCT / NL98 / 00561 of the present applicant.

The device 100 includes a first structural member 101 which is formed here by a rotatable cam track body 103 rotatable about an associated axis of rotation 102 which is substantially vertically oriented here.

The cam track body 103 is rotatable by means of a drive (not shown). Furthermore, the cam track body 103 has a peripheral side 104, as well as a top side 105 at the top.

At the end face 105 there is an annular curve path 106, which extends about rotation axis 102 with an alternating radius about the rotation axis 102. The curve path 106 is here formed as a groove formed in the end face 105.

In the circumferential side 104 of the cam track body 103, a plurality of other cam tracks are provided, which serve to effect other movements of parts of the device 100.

The device 100 further includes a second structural member 120 shown in detail in Figure 4, which is disposed adjacent the cam track body 103.

The second construction part 120 has a base body 121, which is kept stationary in a manner not shown with respect to the axis of rotation 102 of the curved track body 103. 1212 Because of the rotation of the curved track body 103 about the axis 102 of a relative displacement of the second construction part 120 along an associated circular displacement path 5 about the axis 102 relative to the cam track body 103.

The cam track follower 125 is fixedly connected to the first unwinding body 130. Furthermore, the first unwinding body 130 is rotatably disposed about the associated central line 135 in the base body 120. The unwinding body 131 is movable to and fro along the axis line 136 with respect to the unwinding body 130. For this reason, the toothing of the unwinding body 130 in that direction has a corresponding length. The shaft 140 is connected at its lower end to an up and downwardly movable part 142 of the device along the axis line 136 and also pivotable about that axis line 136, so that the pivot movement of that part 142 is effected by the cam track 106 of the rotating cam track body. 103.

The part 142 comprises an up and down movable knife 143 and an associated support 144 for supporting a part of the slaughtered poultry to be cut with the knife 143. Claims (23)

  1.
