Abstract
Description
Stapelbaar vaassamenstel.Stackable vase assembly.
The present invention relates to a stackable vase assembly comprising at least two stackable vase parts, the upper vase part at least partially covering the free surface of the lower vase part. Such a vase assembly is known from French patent publication 1,164,781. Such vase assemblies are used, inter alia, to create a height difference of the different crops placed in the respective vases, so that a view of nature with a varying height, as closely as possible, is simulated as much as possible. In the construction according to the above-mentioned French patent specification 1,164,781 it is proposed to couple a number of vase parts together in vertical direction by means of a pin construction. This construction is not very variable and it is necessary to use all the elements, because otherwise a less attractive construction is created. Moreover, few variants are possible.
In the general prior art a vase construction is known consisting of a number of "stackable glasses", each glass being provided with protuberances at the top side from which flower stems and the like can protrude. Such a construction is not very stable and by definition has a cylindrical construction. This causes problems with the filling of the top vase because the large number of flowers protruding from it again emphasizes a certain plane in which the flowers are located and it is precisely the intention of such vases to imitate nature as much as possible, ie variation in height of the crop concerned.
The object of the present invention is to avoid the drawbacks of the prior art and to provide an improved stackable vase assembly.
This object is achieved with a stackable vase assembly described above, in that the bottom of the upper vase comprises a bottom peripheral edge and wherein the top side of the lower vase is provided with an upright peripheral edge and wherein the bottom peripheral edge and the upright peripheral edge are provided with these edges mutually positioning cutouts.
The invention is based on the insight that one of the circumferential edges is provided with recesses through which the other circumferential edge protrudes. This provides a particularly stable stackable construction, the component parts of the vase, however, still being able to be used separately. That is, it is not necessary to use these vase parts for stacking. In practice, the shape of the bottom of the top vase part will deviate from the shape of the top of the bottom vase part. This is preferably such that a free space is created between the top and bottom vase parts for receiving crop. With the construction according to the present invention it is possible to choose the surface of the successive, i.e. higher, vase part increasingly smaller, so that a stackable vase assembly can be realized with a series of vases, whereby, with the same crop density, a natural whole is created. That is to say, unlike the prior art described above, the planting in the upper vase part will not play a dominant role in the appearance.
It is possible to make the respective recesses both in the top circumferential edge and in the upright circumferential edge or in both. Preferably, however, the recesses are provided in the upright peripheral edge of the bottom vase. This allows optimum variation of the position of the subsequent vase part.
A particularly interesting shape is obtained if the upper vase part and more particularly the lower peripheral edge thereof preferably comprises a polygonal shape. The vertices can then fall into the recesses described above. A triangle is such a preferred polygonal shape.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one of the vases comprises a tubular part that tapers upwards to the top. The cone angle can have any value known in the prior art, such as, for example, 2 °.
Daarbij tonen: 35 Fig. 1 in perspectivisch aanzicht het vaassamenstel volgens de onderhavige uitvinding gevuld met bloemen; The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to an illustrative embodiment shown in the drawing. In fig. Figures 1 and 2 show a stacked vase assembly according to the invention. This is indicated with 1 in its entirety and 5 consists of vase parts 2, 3, 4, 2 being a large vase part, 3 a medium vase part and 4 a small vase part. In the shown embodiment, the cross-sectional shape of each of the vase parts is substantially polygonal and more particularly triangular. It is to be understood that any other form known in the art can be used.
As can be seen from Figs. 1-3, each vase part has an upright peripheral edge 6 provided with recesses 8, which in the present example lie approximately halfway between the corner points of the triangle and a bottom peripheral edge 7. This edge is shown in Fig. 3. the exemplary embodiment protrudes downwardly with respect to the bottom 10 of the vase, but this is not necessary to obtain the stackable effect. To this end, it is only necessary that edge 6 7, i.e. the edge in which the recess 8 is arranged, be upright. As appears from Figs. 1 and 2, in this recess 8 the corner point of the succeeding vase is placed. This creates a free surface of the underlying vase, which is indicated by 9.
Fig. 3 also shows that a clamping projection 11 is provided. This is an all-round protrusion which extends some distance from the lower peripheral edge 7 and of which the short sides are adapted to engage behind the inner side of wall 5 of the underlying vase 3 or 4. Protrusion 11 can moreover serve as a bearing surface of the concerning vase. In such a case, the peripheral edge 7 can be omitted or lower.
On the one hand, with this construction it is possible to stack vases of the same size on top of one another, while still creating a free surface 9 for crops. This is achieved by the polygonal shape of both the underlying and the upper vase. Moreover, with this construction it is possible to use increasingly smaller vases in the vertical direction, i.e. the configuration shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
De conushoek is met β aangegeven en 1007500 4 ligt bij voorkeur bij ongeveer 2°.Fig. 2 also shows that each vase consists of a conically flared tubular part. The cone angle is indicated by β and 1007500 4 is preferably at about 2 °.
Although the invention has been shown above with reference to an exemplary embodiment with vases of three different sizes, it will be understood that the same effect can be obtained with two different sizes or more than three different sizes. In addition, it will be understood that a form other than polygonal j is conceivable for achieving the above-described effect. It will also be understood that the vases can be made of any material known in the art, such as plastic, ceramic, glass and the like. All such variants are considered to fall within the scope of the appended claims.
