Abstract

The invention discloses a palm-based synthetic graphite and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of graphite, and the preparation method comprises the following steps: screening palm shells, and sequentially drying and crushing the palm shells which are qualified in screening to obtain palm-based precursor powder; mixing pitch and tire oil in a predetermined proportion to obtain a liquid mixture of pitch and tire oil; mixing the palm-based precursor powder and the liquid mixture of pitch and tire oil to obtain a mixed material; subjecting the mixed material and a catalyst to a fermentation treatment to obtain a fermented mixed material; and sequentially subjecting the fermented mixed material to a thermal cracking treatment and a graphitization treatment to obtain the palm-based synthetic graphite. The preparation method of the palm-based synthetic graphite is simple, safe and reliable in operation process, high in production efficiency, low in production cost and high in product graphitization degree.
