Abstract

An anticorrosive coating film that has heat resistance, durability, water resistance, and workability superior to that of related-art glass flake lining material, a method of forming the anticorrosive coating film, and an anticorrosive coating composition for forming the anticorrosive coating film. The anticorrosive coating composition contains (A) a vinyl ester resin composition having a specific composition, (B) scale-like glass having a silane-treated surface, and having an average thickness of from 0.1 ?m to 3 ?m and an average particle diameter of from 50 ?m to 600 ?m, and (C) fumed silica at specific blending ratios. The anticorrosive coating film is formed of a single layer of 500 ?m or more by applying the anticorrosive coating composition once. A method of forming the anticorrosive coating film is also disclosed.
