Abstract

A rail fastener assembly includes a resilient clip (3) for engaging and securing a rail in position, a retention board (4), and an anti-loosening and anti-stealing fastening set (5). The clip (3) includes a straight bar portion having an end forming a threaded section, which has an outside diameter smaller than an outside diameter of the bar portion (31) so as to form a conic joint section therebetween. The retention board (4) defines a bore that has a conic inside surface substantially corresponding to the conic section. The retention board (4) and the fastening set (5) are sequentially fit to the threaded section and to be tightened thereto whereby when the anti-loosening and anti-stealing fastening set (5) is completely tightened, the resilient clip (3), the retention board (4), and the anti-loosening and anti-stealing fastening set (5) are securely fixed together as a unitary part to ensure the anti-loosening anti-stealing functions of the fastener assembly.
