Abstract
The present invention restrains a displacement of a slit (31) of an absorber (30) by an apparatus for manufacturing an absorbent article (100) in which a liquid absorbent raw material including a fiber and a superabsorbent polymer is laminated within a forming mold so as to from an absorber (30) having a slit (31). The apparatus for manufacturing an absorber article (100) includes an absorbent raw material supply mechanism (110) that supplies liquid absorbent raw material and an absorber formation mechanism (120) in which the absorbent raw material is laminated in a recess of a forming mold and an absorber (30) is formed. The forming mold includes a lamination region R1 in which the liquid absorbent raw material is laminated and an non-lamination region R2 which is arranged at a location corresponding to the slit (31) formed in the absorber (30). The absorbent raw material supply mechanism (110) includes a polymer supply port which supplies a superabsorbent polymer. The polymer supply port 115 is arranged to be displaced from the non-lamination region in a cross direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction (CD). Fig. 4
