A KNOCKDOWN DESK (1A) HAVING A TOP PLATE (3) AND LEGS (2) FOR SUPPORTING THE TOP PLATE. THE DESK CAN BE CONNECTED TO ANOTHER OF THE SAME KIND SUCH THAT THE TOP PLATES (3). THE DESK CAN BE CONNECTED TO ANOTHER OF THE SAME KIND SUCH THAT THE TOP PLATES (3) OF BOTH THE DESKS ARE ARRANGED NEXT TO EACH OTHER, AND THUS AN ASSEMBLAGE OF A PAIR OF THE DESKS CAN BE FORMED. THE KNOCKDOWN DESK FURTHER HAS A CABLE RECEIVING SECTION PROVIDED ALONG A CONNECTION REGION BETWEEN THE DESK AND THE ANOTHER DESK SO AS TO BE LOCATED BETWEEN A TOP PLATE (3) END OF THE DESK AND A TOP PLATE (3) END OF THE ANOTHER DESK. THE CABLE RECEIVING SECTION IS CAPABLE OF RECEIVING A PREDETERMINED LENGTH OF CABLE TO BE LAID TO THE DESK. THE CABLE RECEIVING SECTION IS OPEN TO THE TOP PLATE SIDE AND HAS AN ACCESS OPENING ENABLING ACCESS TO THE CABLE RECEIVED IN THE CABLE RECEIVING SECTION.
