A TOOTHBRUSH INCLUDING A HEAD SECTION IN WHICH ARE IMPLANTED BRISTLE BUNDLES, EACH COMPOSED OF A PLURALITY OF BUNDLED BRISTLES, AND A HANDLE SECTION THAT EXTENDS FROM THE HEAD SECTION, WHEREIN THERE IS PROVIDED, ONLY IN A REGION THAT IS 25 TO 75% OF THE LENGTH OF THE BRISTLE IMPLANTATION REGION FROM THE BASE OF THE HEAD SECTION TOWARD THE TIP OF THE HEAD SECTION, A SEPARATED BRISTLE BUNDLE IMPLANTATION AREA IN WHICH BRISTLE BUNDLES THAT ARE ADJACENT TO EACH OTHER ACROSS A CENTER LINE OF THE BRISTLE IMPLANTATION REGION THAT EXTENDS FROM THE BASE TOWARD THE TIP OF THE HEAD SECTION ARE SEPARATED BY A DISTANCE THAT IS 15 TO 70% OF THE LENGTH OF THE BRISTLE IMPLANTATION REGION IN A DIRECTION ORTHOGONAL TO THE AFOREMENTIONED CENTER LINE, AND IN THIS SEPARATED BRISTLE BUNDLE IMPLANTATION AREA, THE REGION IN WHICH BRISTLE BUNDLES EXIST HAS AN OPENING AT THE BASE END OF THE HEAD SECTION. THE INVENTION COMBINES A GOOD ABILITY OF THE BRISTLE TIPS TO REACH THE CERVICAL PORTION WITH GOOD PLAQUE REMOVAL PROPERTIES, AND ALSO OFFERS A SUPERIOR SENSATION WHEN USED.
