Abstract

It is an object of the present invention to provide a heat insulating structure of a building in which a person inside the building is less likely to feel uncomfortable about thermal comfort. The heat insulating structure of the building of the present invention includes: a ceiling (2) and exterior walls (3) which are to constitute a skeleton of the building (1) and to receive sunlight; and an air conditioning device. The ceiling (2) is provided with a first heat resistant member (4), and each of the exterior walls (3) is provided with a second heat resistant member (5). A temperature of an indoor side surface of the ceiling (2) (a first surface temperature) and a temperature of an indoor side surface of an exterior wall (3) (a second surface temperature) are obtained from outside air temperature, an amount of sunlight, a set temperature of the air conditioning device, heat resistance of the ceiling (2) and the first heat resistance member (4), and heat resistance of the exterior walls (3) and the second heat resistance member (5). The first heat resistant member (4) and the second heat resistant member (5) are provided so as to satisfy a condition that a value obtained by subtracting, from the first surface temperature, the second surface temperature is less than a predetermined limit temperature difference.
