Abstract

A HEAT INSULATING HOSE INCLUDES AN INNER WALL OF A SPIRALLY WOUND THIN TAPE-LIKE MATERIAL OF SYNTHETIC RESIN, AN OUTER WALL OF A SPIRALLY WOUND THIN TAPE-LIKE MATERIAL OF SYNTHETIC RESIN, AND A HEAT INSULATING MATERIAL OF A FOAMED BELT MATERIAL SPIRALLY WOUND AND INTRERPOSED BETWEEN THE INNER AND OUTER WALLS. THE HEAT INSULATING MATERIAL IS CONSTITUTED BY AT LEAST AN INNER LAYER AN OUTER LAYER NEXT TO THE INNER LAYER, AND A SEAM IN THE INNER LAYER AND A SEAM IN THE OUTER LAYER ARE SHIFTED FROM EACH OTHER WITH RESPECT TO AN AXIAL DIRECTION OF THE HOSE.
