Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un metodo para soldar un extremo de una seccion hueca poligonal (SHP) a un miembro que comprende la etapa de formacion de una soldadura a traves de una superficie de la SHP. La soldadura se extiende continuamente desde una soldadura de conexion que conecta la SHP y el miembro a una ubicacion remota de la soldadura de conexion. La superficie de la SHP tipicamente es uno o mas rebordes de la SHP, y la SHP tipicamente es una SHR o SHC, de modo que la superficie puede ser parte de solo un reborde. Tambien se define un metodo para incrementar la capacidad de rotacion en una conexion de momento soldada entre una SHP y un miembro.
