La invencion describe peliculas polimericas y una membrana polimerica producida a partir de estas, asi como membranas de separacion que tienen un perfil de propiedad mecanica mejorado, asi como un metodo para la produccion y el uso de las mismas; las peliculas polimericas, membranas polimericas y membranas de separacion inventivas se producen a partir de materiales polimericos seleccionados y tienen propiedades quimicas, termicas y mecanicas y excelentes tal como aquellas que se requieren para el uso como la membrana polimerica electrolito (PEM) en las llamadas celdas de combustible de PEM o en dispositivos para filtrar y/o separar gases y/o liquidos o para osmosis inversa.
