Abstract

Se describe un material de substrato de tarjeta separadora (23) para usarse en maquinas de procesamiento de documentos a alta velocidad tales como procesadores de moneda que se imprime con un arreglo de pistas magneticas espaciadas lateralmente de manera periodica (18) a traves de un area de la cara del substrato y ademas se imprime un codigo de lectura por maquina de bloques claros y obscuros (24) que representan datos seleccionados en al menos una porcion del mismo espacio del substrato ocupado por las mismas pistas magneticas con bloques claros y obscuros que abarcan las dimensiones de anchura entre las pistas asi como las dimensiones longitudinales entre las pistas. El intercalado de las pistas magneticas y de los bloques claros y obscuros permite que la tarjeta separadora sea codificada con campos relativamente grandes de datos opticos que permiten el uso de sensores de baja resolucion para la deteccion de datos opticos usados para identificar en forma unica cada tarjeta separadora sin interferir con la funcion de las pistas magneticas.
