Abstract
La presente invencion está directamente relacionada con los vestidos de máquinas de papel fabricados de fibras bi-componentes interconectadas. En una de las modalidades preferidas de la invencion, el vestido de máquinas el vestido de máquinas de papel es fabricado enteramente de fibras bi-componentes en ambas direcciones: la direccion de la máquina y la direccion cruzada de la máquina. La ventaja es tomada de la estructura unica de fibras bi-componentes, la cual permite la seleccion de materiales diferentes para los componentes de cubierta y del centro. Por consiguiente, una estructura de fibras bi-componentes, fusionada, puede ser formada en donde el componente de la cubierta tiene un punto de fusion menor que el componente central. Por calentamiento del tejido construido de fibras bi-componentes hasta una temperatura mayor que el punto de fusion del componente de la cubierta y menor que el punto de fusion del componente central, con el subsecuente enfriamiento del tejido hasta abajo de la temperatura de fusion del componente de la cubierta, da como resultado una estructura enlazada y fusionada.
