Abstract

Un dispositivo 10 implantable de acceso para permitir repetido acceso a un lugar, espacio, dispositivo u otro objeto, fluido, tejido o region dentro del cuerpo de un paciente; el dispositivo implantable incluye, en una realizacion, un alojamiento 12 con un canal 14 guía abierto alargado que llega a un orificio 16 de entrada, un ensamblaje 19 de válvula comunicando con el orificio de entrada, y un orificio de salida; el dispositivo permite el acceso vía insercion percutánea de un filamento 40 de acceso tal con una aguja, a través del orificio de entrada y hacia el ensamblaje de válvula, el cual se abre para permitir el paso de fluidos y otros filamentos tales como cables guía o fibras opticas; el dispositivo puede ser utilizado para la introduccion de agentes terapéuticos, para la infusion o extraccion de fluidos o para la introduccion de dispositivos de reconocimiento, de muestreo o de tratamiento en otros dispositivos implantados o en regiones interiores del paciente.
