Abstract

Los derivados quirales de hidroxifenilglicina, con la configuracion D, también la formula general (I), donde R es H, hidroxi, cloruro, -NH2, -NHW, donde W es un grupo alquilo C1-C4 o arilo, -OR', donde R' es un grupo alquilo C1-C4, y Z es H, -CONH2 y -C(CH3)-CHCOOY, donde y es metilo o etilo. Uno de estos compuestos, la D-(-)-2-(2'-hidroxifenil)glicina puede obtenerse por vía enzimática a partir de la hidantoina correspondiente mientras que los otros pueden obtenerse por vía química o enzimotica. Los compuestos de formula (I) son utiles para la produccion de fármacos, en particular, para penicilinas semi-sintéticas, cefalosporinas, antiinfalmatorios no esteroideos y mucolicos.
