Abstract
Proceso y horno, que permite utilizar residuos de tierras de filtros (Tierras diatomáceas), eliminando el material orgánico, mediante el proceso que se ilustra en la presente investigación, dicho horno consiste de un recipiente, donde se deposita el residuo industrial, para transportar el material se utiliza una mesa plegadiza, así mismo cuenta con un agitador con pedestal, para bajar cuchillas y remover el material tratado. Los gases generados son colectados por un extractor el cual tiene una chaqueta de enfriamiento, para posteriormente ser enviados a un sistema absorbedor, donde son neutralizados. Mediante este equipo y proceso, se obtuvo materiales, ligeros, con poca porosidad y alta resistencia a la compresión, con ello se logró darle aplicación en la rama de la construcción ó en la industria mecánica a residuos industriales sólidos granulares, los cuales son dañinos al medio ambiente.
