Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema y proceso para el tratamiento pasivo de aguas residuales domésticas, la cual está integrado en forma secuencial de tres etapas de tratamiento, cada una con características específicas. Tanque séptico, para eliminación de materia sedimentable y flotante; Filtro anaerobio para degradación de materia orgánica; Humedal artificial de flujo subsuperficial para eliminación de materia orgánica residual y nutrientes (fosforo y nitrógeno). El sistema de tratamiento aquí propuesto tiene una eficiencia de remoción de materia orgánica medida como Demanda Bioquímica de Oxígeno (DBO) y Demanda Química de Oxígeno (DQO) mayor e igual al 90%, obteniéndose agua tratada con calidad que cumplen con la normatividad oficial para su reutilización en riego agrícola según la NOM-00l-SEMARNAT-1996 o en servicio público según la NOM-003-SEMARNAT-1997.
