Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso biotecnológico que incrementa la recuperación de aceite que tiene una Gravedad API de 14 a 25, contenidos en sistemas de roca carbonatada o arenisca, de baja permeabilidad 7 a 100 mD, utilizando microorganismos extremófilos autóctonos (primer cultivo) provenientes de pozo petrolero, y un segundo cultivo conteniendo microorganismos selectos y su metabolitos (gases, ácidos, solventes y surfactantes), para mejorar la movilidad del aceite. En condiciones anaerobias, tales microorganismos son capaces de crecer ten temperaturas 60 a 95°C a presiones 7 a 154.6 Kg/cm2 y conteniendo de NaCi de 5,000 a 45,000 ppm. La inyección de microorganismos autóctonos, un segundo cultivo, y el cierre del pazo por periodos de 5 a 10 días para la producción de metabolitos, que mejoran la recuperación de aceite. El proceso biotecnológico incluye bioestimulación (microorganismos autóctonos) y bioaumentación (segundo cultivo) para incrementar la recuperación del aceite.
