Abstract

Se proporciona un método de decodificación. El método incluye recibir un flujo de bits de video que incluye una pluralidad de capas que tienen subcapas y un conjunto de parámetros de video (VPS) que incluye una primera bandera que tiene un primer valor, en donde la primera bandera que tiene el primer valor especifica que los identificadores temporales (ID) de una representación de subcapa más alta para información de nivel, parámetros de memoria intermedia de imágenes decodificadas (DPB) y parámetros de actualización de decodificador hipotético (HRD) no están presentes en el VPS y se infiere que son iguales a un número máximo de las subcapas que pueden estar presentes en una capa de la pluralidad de capas especificadas por el VPS; obtener la información de nivel, los parámetros HRD y los parámetros DPB correspondientes al ID temporal de la representación de subcapa más alta del VPS; y decodificar una imagen de una de la pluralidad de capas para obtener una imagen decodificada. También se proporciona un método de codificación correspondiente.
