Abstract

Se describe una composición de grasa vegetal que comprende al menos dos triglicéridos diferentes que comprenden ácidos grasos seleccionados entre ácidos grasos saturados y ácidos grasos insaturados, en donde al menos uno de los triglicéridos comprende ácidos grasos C14. Además, se describe un método para producir tal composición de grasa vegetal además de varios usos de tal composición. Una composición de grasa vegetal como se describe tiene algunas de las propiedades del sustituto de manteca de cacao y algunas de las propiedades del sustituto de manteca de cacao, combinadas en un producto, además de ser una composición de grasa vegetal rentable.
