Abstract
Un dispositivo para evaluar la solidez de un material que comprende una herramienta auxiliar (2) que tiene un extremo (2B) en la forma de una punta o cuchilla, un impactador (4) para impactar la herramienta auxiliar (2), un sensor (12) y una unidad de procesamiento (30).La herramienta auxiliar (2) está colocada entre un material (8) y el impactador (4) y transmite la fuerza de impacto generada por el impactador (4) al material (8). El sensor (12) es capaz de medir una cantidad entre la fuerza de impacto y la deformación del impactador, y de suministrar una señal de medición. La unidad de procesamiento (30) es adecuada para calcular, a partir de la señal de medición, un indicador representativo de la solidez del material (8). El indicador corresponde a la duración de una ventana de tiempo entre el primer pico (P1) de amplitud máxima de la señal de medición y el segundo pico de amplitud máxima (P2).
