Abstract
El motor eléctrico planar de uso aeroespacial es un impulsor cien por ciento eléctrico y consiste en un dispositivo capaz de generar una fuerza de empuje sobre sí mismo independientemente del entorno que le rodea inclusive en el vacío o en el espacio exterior. El impulso del motor se produce mediante la interacción de los campos generados por la corriente que fluye por un conductor primario y uno secundario, adyacente y paralelo al primero estando ambos separados mediante un material aislante, el conductor secundario se encuentra interrumpido a lo largo de un tramo, de manera tal que para completar un circuito, los portadores de carga deberán brincar el espacio libre que constituye la interrupción del conductor secundario, para lograr esto el motor emplea pulsos extremadamente breves de voltaje muy elevado, generando pequeños impulsos por la fuerza de repulsión entre ambas corrientes paralelas y de direcciones opuestas.
