Abstract
Las composiciones útiles como recubrimientos para alambres y cables comprenden, en porcentaje en peso (% en peso) en función del peso de la composición: (A) De 10 a 62% en peso de un polímero de etileno injertado con silano (Si-g-PE) que tiene un contenido de silano de 0.5 a 5% en peso en función del peso del Si-g-PE, en donde el Si-g -PE está hecho a partir de un polímero de etileno (resina base) que tiene las siguientes propiedades (1) Densidad de 0.875 a 0.910 g/cc; (2) Índice de fusión (MI, I2) de 8 a 50 g/10 min (190°C/2.16 kg); y (B) De 38 a 90% en peso de un pirorretardante libre de halógenos (HFFR); (C) De 0 a 0.3% en peso de un antioxidante; y (D) De 0 a 1% en peso de un catalizador de condensación de silanol.
