Abstract

The present invention describes an automated apparatus for testing visual acuity, which has the feature of being portable, light and inexpensive compared with existing apparatuses on the market, and since it does not need to be connected to a stationary power source, it has the advantage of being able to perform visual acuity tests anywhere. Another of the advantages of the automated apparatus for testing visual acuity is that it is controlled and operated by a mobile device using Bluetooth technology, which makes it possible to reduce the operating times thereof, thus reducing the expense of each test, also making it possible to perform a larger number of eyesight tests on various individuals while simultaneously reducing operating costs.
