Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con una nueva cepa que pertenece a la especie Lactobacillus Paracasei capaz de convertir el ácido linoleico en ácido linoleico conjugado. La presente invención también se relaciona con preparaciones nutricionales o alimenticias y/o composiciones farmacóuticas, que comprenden la cepa Lactobacillus Paracasei, útiles en el tratamiento y/o prevención de patologí­as y/o estados fisiológicos relacionados con la deficiencia de ácido linoleico conjugado o en los casos en donde es benófico el uso de un probiótico.
