Abstract

Un copolímero útil como un clarificador del agua para una fase acuosa de un fluido de producción se selecciona de aquellos con un primer monómero y un segundo monómero y, en una realización no limitativa, tiene la fórmula general: (ver Fórmula) donde y es de 10 a 50.000; z es de 1 a 10.000 y n es de 1 a 250. El copolímero puede incluir opcionalmente un tercer monómero. En una realización opcional del proceso, el fluido tiene una fase de hidrocarburo, y el proceso implica además secar simultáneamente la fase de hidrocarburo del fluido, junto con la clarificación de la fase acuosa.
