Abstract
Un sistema de rastreo solar con una pluralidad de ensambles de rastreo (12) se mueve por medio de un motor sencillo (14). Un método y sistema que evita la sobrecarga del motor o desconexión de un disyuntor de circuito debido a un rastreo obstruido o impedido incluye detectar el movimiento (162) de los ensambles (12) del rastreo e ingresar en modos de despeje de obstrucción. El modo 1 de despeje de obstrucción (OCM1) (168) es un modo de alta frecuencia ajustable que indica el movimiento por un período de tiempo ajustable. Si el movimiento comienza, el sistema regresa a un modo normal. Si no existe movimiento, el sistema entra en un modo 2 de despeje de obstrucción (OCM2) (176) el cual es una serie de intentos de baja frecuencia ajustable. Si no existe movimiento, no se realizan más intentos. Cada una de estas etapas se monitorea y controla de forma remota. Existen dos tipos de conexiones seguras para las líneas de transmisión, tubos de torsión (16, 110, 220) o uniones de líneas de transmisión fija (130) o condiciones de par de torsión altas.
